During seturtle season every second day the "Sea Turtle Conservation Bonaire (STCB)" is patrolling the seaturtle beaches of "Klein Bonaire", a small uninhabited island with the most important seaturtle nesting beach in that area. During the patrol the researchers are looking for signs of seaturtle aktivities from the previous nights, e.g. trails of nesting females or tracks of small hatchlings. These large tracks on the beach bear witness to the nocturnal visit of an egg-bearing female hawksbill sea turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata). | von links nach rechts: Denise Willeboordse (Freiwillige auf Bonaire, hauptsächlich für STCB tätig), Hans Koning (Beach Keeper), Sue Willis (Projektkoordinatorin, STCB), Jannie Koning (Beach Keeperin);
