S.107 - Gefleckte Schnirkelschnecke (Arianta arbustorum)

{Story behind the image: I took this photo of the copse snail (Arianta arbustorum) in the Hohen Tauern national park in Austria as part of my oak tree project. This snail is found in the mountains at heights of up to 2700 m. A self-made rain drop generator released 6 drops at a time while a photo was taken automatically shortly after the release. It was quite dry when I took the pictures and the copse snail is attracted by rain and moisture. I wanted to show that there are animals that actually like the rain!} | Gefleckte Schnirkelschnecke (Arianta arbustorum) ist im Gebirge bis auf 2700 m zu finden. Nationalpark Hohe Tauern, Österreich
